Services

The Dreaded Hollow provides professional dreadlock services including creation, maintenance, repairs, extensions, braid-in installations, and custom hair creations. All services are performed using professional techniques and materials.

Pricing

Services are charged at a rate of $80 per hour, unless otherwise stated.
All pricing is subject to change at any time without notice.
Any timeframes provided are estimates only and may vary depending on hair condition, length, density, and the complexity of the service.

Studio Location & Client Responsibility

The Dreaded Hollow operates from a home-based studio located in Wyoming, Central Coast NSW.

By attending appointments at the studio, clients accept full responsibility for their own health, safety, and wellbeing while on the premises.
The Dreaded Hollow and its owner are not responsible for any injuries or incidents, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, or other hazards that may occur on the property.

Health & Medical Disclaimer

Janine Kentwell is qualified and certified in dreadlock creation and maintenance, with knowledge of scalp care and synthetic fibres.

Services provided are not medical treatments, and no medical advice is offered.
The Dreaded Hollow is not responsible for allergic reactions, sensitivities, or medical conditions. Clients are advised to seek guidance from a qualified medical professional regarding any health concerns, allergies, or scalp conditions prior to booking.

Clients must disclose any known allergies, sensitivities, or relevant health conditions before services commence.

Appointments, Deposits & Cancellations

Deposits may be required to secure bookings or custom orders. Deposit amounts and payment timelines will be discussed prior to confirmation of services or orders.

• Rescheduling: Appointments may be rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

• Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend an appointment, will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

• Deposits are non-refundable and are applied toward the booked service or order.

Results & Hair Outcomes

Dreadlocks are a natural and evolving hairstyle. Results vary based on individual hair type, maintenance practices, and lifestyle factors. No guarantees are made regarding long-term results or hair outcomes beyond the service provided.

Custom Orders

Custom dreadlock extensions and hair pieces are made to order. Due to the bespoke nature of custom work, custom orders cannot be cancelled or modified once production has commenced.

Photography & Social Media

Images or videos of completed work may be used for marketing and social media purposes.

Clients who do not wish to have their images used must provide verbal notice prior to or during the appointment.

For clients under the age of 18, faces will not be shown on social media under any circumstances.

Right to Refuse Service

The Dreaded Hollow reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at its discretion if circumstances are deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or beyond the scope of services offered.
